Copy the link and paste it into Safari (iPhone) or Chrome (Android).
Apps like Gmail, Outlook, LinkedIn, Indeed, Facebook, and Instagram open links in their own small browser. On iPhone and iPad that browser cannot use the camera.
iPhone or iPad
- Tap the Safari icon or the ⋯ button at the bottom or top right of the screen.
- Choose Open in Safari.
If you do not see it:
- Press and hold the interview link in the email or message.
- Tap Copy.
- Open Safari, tap the address bar, paste, and tap Go.
Android
- Tap the ⋮ menu at the top right.
- Choose Open in Chrome or Open in browser.
Chrome on iPhone?
Chrome on iPhone can record on iOS 14.3 and newer. If your camera does not start, use Safari.
Still stuck?
Reply to the email or text message that had your interview link. Tell your recruiter:
- the phone or computer you use
- the browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, or Edge)
- the exact message on your screen
They can send you a new link or help you finish.
